Suggestions? anyone? I know I suggested the Griffin family from Family Guy. This is a controversial family though and we may decide to find a more wholesome prospect. BUT I really need help on this one. I typically do not watch much television and have little exposure to modern events, but have time and capability to research if we can just pick a family. which we really need to do soon.

I didn't even think of them haha. We all need to agree soon so we can get everything done. So I vote Brady Bunch because they have the least amount of controversy ha.

I did get the e-mails, just been rather ill lately... I think we should go with the brady bunch too. But that is 6 kids, a wife a husband, does Alice count as family? Anyways this is so many people. There are a few more to consider if we are talking TV sitcoms, like the Huxtables, or the Connor's, or even the Bundy's.

I think we should each take 1 boy and 1 girl. I will either take the middle children, Peter and Jan, anyone has any preferences for who they get throw in your vote and get started on your research. Take a look at the help page she recommended if you need help. I have never done a wiki before and will be taking full advantage of youtube help videos. I will let you know if I find a good one. or let me know if you do please

I think we are all a little confused. We just have to try our best. The examples the professor gave are helpful advice. Do a ecomap for each family member and save it on here and we will compile it on a PP. This youtube helped
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVKXqIM8QeY&feature=endscreen&NR=1
Just gather information about your character like the info provided in her examples, create a page add a picture and voila! Also, add into the how we can help how your career choice can help this family or certain individuals. Let's try to get all our info in by Tues (Wed at the latest), plus ecomap for each member, and how we can help. We can perfect the project and compile the ecomap PP, How do we do that together? or does someone want to volunteer to compile all the ecomaps into one?

Sorry its just now letting me see these. I am about to enter all of my info, etc. I will volunteer if no one else wants to. Although my computer is very outdated and doesn't always let me post my powerpoints. Soooo if someone else wants to do that let me know because my computer could give us issues.

Please take a look at the Brady Bunch Ecomap I have started to compile on the ecomap page. I will delete and update it as I receive more information for it from you. What I need you to do for each of your charcters is to make the ecomap using the How to guide that i uploaded. Remember the little circles are supposed to be issues faced for the family member such as school, work, poor self-esteem, football, etc... I know it is hard (I am having trouble discerning myself) but use your best judgement and apply the llinks to each issue as shown on the sheet. Pretty easy to do in PP, ---Insert shapes----Insert circle--insert text box--insert certain type of lines and format all as needed. We need to be able to pull everything together tommorrow and fine tuning on Thursday.

Hey Monica, I wanted to send you my information for Carol and Mike Brady.

Carol is a stay at home mother who loves singing in the choir at church, has 3 daughters, Marcia, Jan, and Cindy. When she marries Mike, she inherits 3 boys Greg, Peter, and Bobby.
Mike is the head of the Brady Household with 3 sons. He was a widow until he married Carol and inherited daughters. He was awarded “Father of the Year” and loves fishing and camping. Also, he is a well-known architect in the city.

Carol and Mike move into a suburban house designed by Mike and have to first try and blend their families together in a healthy way. But it is a very task considering there are six children that are close in age. Overtime, Carol and Mike focus on the related issues to the kids learning to grow up. They teach their children about responsibilities, dating, self-image, and puberty. The Brady’s are an American middle class family who learn and grow to come together as one family.

I have something that came up tonight and will not be able to put together the ecomap. If someone else will take it over that would be awesome. Just let us know here. Just save the old one to your computer and edit as needed. Natalieif you want to do Mike and Carol together on one page as a couple that would be fine.

I just realized that all of you are interior design majors! That is awesome! Natalie started the Interior design how we can help page, Natalie and Melita make sure you add your names and add on to the page. I think we might want to combine yours and mine to make just one page.

Ya'll do realize this is due today, and you are putting me out to either do the work for you or wait until the last minute to get the ecomap done. The point is for all of us to learn how to make and use a wiki and an ecomap. You were supposed to make an ecomap for your characters so that we could compile it. I am disappointed and rather frustrated that the project isn't already ready, and that I will have to rush to get the ecomap done.

Natalie I pasted the information you commented to a page and found a pic of them together. Edit it as you want.

I just wanted to add to Melita's list, you can say to create a larger bedroom for Carol and Mike so they can have more privacy.

Monica, I am sorry I was going to make my page, I have been busy this week and waited until today to finish it up. Thank you for doing that though.

Its okay. It has just been a really long month for me and I really hate waiting until the last minute. If you guys have anything that needs to be fixed on the ecomap, please take a look and let me know. According to her description of what to do and examples, the ecomap is supposed to pertain to issues affecting the family, not so much personal traits. Please make all corrections by 8/8:30 and we will get it turned in on time. Thanks everyone!
